9/15-9/21 Consumer Focus + Business Card Designs

During the weekend, I talked to my cousin, Mike. He helped me realize that I needed to figure out who my target consumer is and cater my website towards them. Thus, I updated the six featured images on the homepage … Continue reading 9/15-9/21 Consumer Focus + Business Card Designs

9/8 – 9/14 Self doubt

This past weekend, I tried to did not think about my startup. With fresh eyes on Monday, I had doubts. I questioned my drive and passion for pursuing my startup. To reduce my negative thoughts spiraling out of control, I tried to pinpoint where this self doubt arose from: my expectations of the future and comparing it to its current condition. It was hard to accept, but soon after, I realized I needed to take baby steps and expand day by day. Continue reading 9/8 – 9/14 Self doubt

8/21-8/29 Transferring footage+Business Cards+Relax

8/21-8/24: Geez… I did not know how difficult it was to airdrop 9 hours worth of footage from an iPhone to a PC. This probably took me around 4 hours to do! The website was a helpful way to organize all aspects of the startup. I was able to showcase pictures, contents, and blog posts. It took me a while to make it look nice, but it was worth … Continue reading 8/20 Medium + WordPress

8/19 YouTube

After my vacation, I realized that I needed multiple platforms, not just Instagram, to outreach to more people. So I decided to make a YouTube account for Traveling Toolbox. I have followed many YouTubers (such as JustKiddingFilms and Jeremy Jahns) and because of them, I wanted to have my own channel so others can relate to me on a more personal level aside from pictures and blogs. Thus, the creation of Traveling Toolbox on YouTube was created! Continue reading 8/19 YouTube

8/5 – 8/8 The Team

The next big step was to recruit my team. From the beginning, I had a clear vision of what checkmate would look like, but I did not know what the small steps preceding it were. All I knew for sure was that I needed trustworthy friends because the “chess game” would not end in a couple of minutes, but rather a couple of years. The very first person I recruited was Matt. He was a very good friend of mine since middle school and he had more knowledge in app development than I ever will. Next was Kevin. He was … Continue reading 8/5 – 8/8 The Team
